Camborne Cottages

Camborne is also the birthplace of Richard Trevithick, inventor of the steam engine, and annual celebrations are held in the town around the end of April. Grand buildings still survive and the area has recently received funding for regeneration and historical preservation; head over to Heartlands in Pool near Redruth for the full learning experience and a very good children's play area. Just off the A30, Camborne is ideally placed for access to the Heritage Coast and Godrevy beach as well as the popular Tehidy Woods just outside of Portreath.
