Good for families.

Accommodated 10 of us including two toddlers and two ‘babes’ in arms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food.

Nearby beach

This small shingle and pebble beach is situated in a sheltered inlet and is ideal for families. You'll find rock pools, a small stream and small boats can be launched from the beach. There are toilets here but no other facilities and parking is limited to a few spaces near the church. Dogs are allowed year round.

Nearby walk

This gentle meander of just over two miles takes you from the main car park in the village, along the coast path and then returns through open countryside. Take a look a the website andrewswalks.co.uk for the Little Haven walk.

Nearby town

Situated in a secluded, sheltered cove, St Brides is a small coastal village with a beautiful sandy beach at low tide. Perfect for swimming and rock pooling this is the perfect place for a family day on the beach. You will also find several places to eat here during the summer months and The Saint Bride's Inn close by in Little Haven.

Off the Hook.

Great beach for families. A walk away from Little Haven at low tide. Fish and chips from Off the Hook a must, even if that’s the only reason you visit Broad Haven for.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This small inlet is sandy and ideal for a families. There are lots of rockpools to discover so don't forget your bucket and net. At low tide it's possible to walk round to the wide sandy bay next door called The Settlands and further round still to Broad Haven beach. Do check the tides before you visit. Car parking is available in the village and there are three pubs and a cafe for refreshments.

Be prepared!

When we were there (3rd/4th week in August) the sand was never dry. This was not from rain, but a wide-spreading stream and drainage. I was glad I always have a plastic-backed picnic rug.

A traditional waterside village pub with stunning views from the terrace. Seafood is a speciality here with fresh local fish supplied from the Haven. Sit outside and enjoy the view in summer or toast your toes by the real log fires in winter. Winter opening times are limited so check before you travel. Dogs are allowed on the terrace only.

Great seafood

A great place to eat and great seafood. A little pricey, but definitely worth it.

Situated within the Pembrokshire Coast National Park, this small village has a pub and village stores. The area has stunning seascapes and wildlife a plenty and is perfect for a "get away from it all" holiday.
