KingA sweet and well-appointed cottage set within a secluded and enchanting country estate, near all the prime locations for exploration on the Lizard Peninsula. It's the perfect pad to share breakfast in bed in the morning, games in the evening, or long afternoons on your private sunny patio, making for the perfect couples' getaway or some time, just for yourself, to rest and recharge.
This gorgeous bijou, semi-detached pad is a true secret retreat, accessed through captivating serpentine pillars down a private driveway, shared only with the owners and other holiday guests (and some friendly resident peacocks, who may drop by to say hello).
After parking in the large parking-area, follow the pathway adorned with rose bushes and past a young apple orchard, where you will find Robinsons Cottage at the bottom of the path.
Taking care on the wide granite step, head through the characterful double doors into the modern and stylish kitchen, which is beautifully equipped with all that you might need to cook whatever your holiday heart desires, there is also a sweet table for two for relaxed dinners or leisurely breakfasts.
The sitting-room is light, airy and beautifully appointed with a comfortable sofa for two along with another space for dining, playing games or studying maps to plan your Cornish explorations.
The bedroom is light, chic and boasts a stunning hand-painted tropical mural as a feature wall. There is a sleek and modern en suite bathroom that has a shower over the bath. The entire property is spread across one floor with just the one step from the patio-area, although it is good to be mindful of the beautiful stroll from the car parking-area which is approximately 50 yards and sloped.
Robinsons Cottage is one of five idyllic retreats, lovingly redeveloped, powered by renewable energy and set within in a National Landscape. The retreats are nestled within an estate that is being devotedly cared for by the owners to provide a sustainable and healthy environment for flora and fauna to thrive and which is why they regretfully do not accept dogs on to the estate.
Nearby to the manor you are just a short drive away from The Lizard, the southernmost point of England famous for its unique geology which boasts the rare serpentine rock, wildlife and biodiversity; it is a heavily protected area.
You are so well situated at Robinsons Cottage to see the sights that this stunning piece of coastline has to offer, such as the dramatic Kynance Cove, Polurrian Beach and Mullion Island, all nearby.
Whether you are looking for an action-packed diving, coasteering, surfing or hiking holiday, relaxing afternoons on one of the many nearby beaches or perhaps a woodland stroll under the mighty oaks that line part of the Helford river, all this can be found just a short drive away.
