Welcome to Northleigh Barn, a splendid rural retreat, located on the Two Moors Way, providing the perfect setting for those wishing to relax and unwind in the most serene countryside. This spacious cottage and sprawling gardens make Northleigh Barn the perfect choice if you are wishing to retire from the hustle and bustle of everyday life - just for a short time at least.

Whether it's enjoying a romantic break or a holiday away with friends or family, this super cottage with two en suite bedrooms provides the ideal set-up, especially as your four-legged friends are also welcome.

On entering the cottage, you are welcomed into the attractive hallway, which leads into the spacious open plan kitchen/diner. This is such a great communal space for cooking, dining or just relaxing in general, especially as you can step out of the kitchen directly onto your patio-area - a great spot for enjoying a few nibbles whilst you watch the sun go down. Of an evening, the large sitting-room, which also opens out to the garden area, is a lovely space to retreat to. Whether it be popping outside to soak up the final rays of sun whilst enjoying the blissful surrounding countryside, or closing the patio doors and relaxing in front of the TV, either makes for the perfect way to end the day.

When it comes to retiring for the evening, upstairs you have two beautiful bedrooms to choose from, both offering large en suites. Bedroom one is home to a stunning super-king size bed and treats you to the most fabulous garden views to wake up to. Bedroom two is a charming twin room, again, offering oodles of space and its own en suite shower-room.

This charming cottage is located on the Two Moors Way with far reaching countryside views across Devon and Exmoor in the distance. Whether it be waking up to these views or enjoying your morning coffee to the sound of the energic bird song on the patio, your beautiful surroundings will not disappoint.

Popping out for supplies is also easy to do, as the lovely village of Morchard Bishop is only two miles away and home to a very well stocked village shop for all your holiday essentials. Slightly further afield you also have a traditional Devon pub in the shape of The London Inn, serving up traditional ales and a varied food menu, ideal to give chef in your party a night off.

Should you need any help or assistance during your holiday, the owners of the Northleigh estate live in the attached cottage and whilst your privacy is paramount and totally protected, they are on hand to help with any requests to ensure your holiday is as perfect as possible.

Whether you wish to relax and unwind in your wonderful surroundings or pack up the car and head out for the day to Dartmoor, Exmoor or the north and south Devon coast, all are an enjoyable car journey away.

Heading to the north Devon coast will find you in surfers' paradise. The endless stretches of golden sandy beaches make this coastline a real favourite. Pack the car, load the dog(s) and prepare for a magical day whichever spot of the coast you venture to.

Northleigh Barn boasts such a peaceful and unspoilt location, however, under ten miles away you have the lively market town of Crediton. Here you can source anything and everything required and stock up on the finest foods for that special evening meal. Crediton's thriving town centre also offers a plethora of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants - so go on, treat yourself to a traditional Devon cream tea or a pint of the local brew.

There really is so much to do and something for everyone, from National Trust properties in the area such as Castle Drogo, Killerton and Knighthayes, to a wealth of farm shops dotted around. You are also within a pleasant car journey from Powderham Castle which is most certainly worth a visit.

Whichever way you choose to spend your holiday, the fabulous combination of a charming property and special location makes Northleigh Barn the perfect choice.
