Cycle or drive to the downland village of Alfriston, home to the Alfriston Clergy House, the first property acquired by the National Trust. Here you will find quaint pubs, independent shops, art galleries and tea-rooms. Just outside the village you can book a wine tasting tour or dine at the stunning Rathfinney Wine Estate.
