The area surrounding Mousehole is a treasure trove of Cornish charm, rugged coastline and artistic spirit all within easy reach of the cottage. By foot explore Newlyn, a working fishing port with a thriving arts scene and a deep connection to Cornwall's maritime heritage.
Penzance, the region's main town offers a lovely mix of seaside bustle with cultural heritage. Wander along the elegant promenade, take a dip in the iconic Art Deco Jubilee Pool and then explore the quirky shops and cafes.
History lovers will enjoy the Penlee House Gallery and Museum, while foodies can dive into the ever growing scene of independent eateries and local produce. Marazion, just a short hop across Mount's Bay, is the gateway to the fairytale St Michael's Mount, a tidal island topped with a medieval castle.
