SingleA beautiful first floor apartment in a gated development only moments from the town centre of Falmouth and a short walk to the beach. Beautifully landscaped grounds and a private marina full of yachts makes for a peaceful retreat for your holiday.
The Anchor is just the perfect size for three people. The first floor apartment is filled with light and you will be greeted by a large entrance hall when you open the front door, leading to your left is the airy and bright sitting-room overlooking pretty communal gardens. Calming coastal tones and hand-made decorations bring the seaside home to this calming sanctuary. The sitting-room has a toasty pebble-effect electric fire which is comforting after a windy coastal walk, perhaps snuggle up with a hot chocolate in front of the fire and watch your favourite film.
The kitchen/diner has everything you might want for cooking on holiday and a lovely table to sit around planning the day's adventure. The thoughtful owners have provided an air fryer for your use and if you don't feel like cooking (you are on holiday after all) there are many pubs, restaurants and cafes all just a short walk from The Anchor.
The principal bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, in the summer months enjoy sleeping with the windows open and let the sea air flow through. The single bedroom is perfect for children where they can enjoy looking at all the boats decorating the bedroom. The family bathroom has a tub to soak those weary limbs and there is also a separate cloakroom which is always handy when you have a full house.
The Anchor enjoys the use of the communal gardens and the pergola outside the apartment if you fancy a G&T in the sunshine. Enjoy a game of tennis or two on the communal tennis courts (please bring your own rackets) or visit one of the beautiful beaches within easy reach of the apartment; Castle beach and Gyllyngvase beach, both with great beach cafes.
This is the perfect location to explore Falmouth from, an easy flat stroll into town with many lovely boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and bars to enjoy and many with stunning views. You can hop on the ferry and explore the waters of the Carrick Roads and beyond or perhaps don your explorer's hat and see what hidden coves you can find.
There are plenty of water sports on offer with paddleboard hire available at Gylly beach (along with a great cafe) and if you wander along to Swanpool you can hire kayaks and have some tuition too. Of course, if you want to venture further afield this is the perfect location to do so and with so much at your fingertips you will just have to come back to The Anchor.
