SingleWith breathtaking coastal views that stretch as far as the eye can see, direct access to the coastal path and within walking distance of two beaches, this heavenly seaside retreat is the epitome of coastal living. Perched above glistening blue waters, St Annes boasts pride of place in a quiet exclusive residential area close to the traditional fishing town of Looe.
Welcoming up to five lucky guests, with light, contemporary styled interiors, a sunny garden for al fresco dining and a first floor balcony giving a bird's eye view of this spectacular setting, this is a wonderful retreat for families, friends and couples alike…you'll be smitten from the minute you arrive.
Open plan living is the order of the day at St Annes, to ensure you enjoy spending time together and to make the most of the view. Whether conjuring up culinary delights in the stylish kitchen, tucking into holiday meals at the dining-table, snuggled up on the sofa or relaxing with an evening sundowner in the sun-room, unwind and chill out with that very special backdrop.
There's a fabulous wet-room on the ground floor, ideal for a quick rinse of sandy toes after a day on the beach or a great excuse to grab a sneaky croissant on the way to your morning shower! There's an even more impressive wet-room waiting for you on the first floor along with the three bedrooms, all with windows that frame the blue of the sea and sky. Bedroom one even boasts a wonderful balcony with tranquil views over the sea, best admired whilst lazing on the sun-loungers in our opinion!
The gorgeous garden and sunny terrace offer a wonderful space to relax, whether you're waking early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise or watching the sunset at the end of a glorious day in this charming corner of Cornwall….so what are you waiting for, come and live the coastal dream.
Whether you are new to the area or it's always been a firm favourite, there's much to explore. Don't forget those walking boots because there's no better way to see the coastline than along the coastal path and luckily, it's literally right on the doorstep. The little beach at Plaidy is less known so offers a relaxing day at the seaside and at low tide, younger members will enjoy playing in the rock pools and for some fun on the water stroll down to Millendreath, where paddleboarding, kayaking and Sea Scooters await.
The nearby fishing town of Looe, the setting of the TV programme 'Beyond Paradise' will delight all ages. Full of traditional seaside charm, you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep sea shark fishing or perhaps relax aboard a sea cruise and see the coastline from a different angle. After wandering the shops dotted along the narrow streets, treat yourself at one of the many places to eat and drink, perhaps fish and chips or a Cornish pasty - well when in Rome and all that.
Looe Island stands majestically out in the bay and wildlife enthusiasts will delight in a trip over to the protected nature reserve and for more wildlife why not meet the monkeys at the nearby Monkey Rescue Sanctuary. If you want to serve an ace or two the local tennis courts have the most spectacular seaside setting and if golf is your game, Looe Golf Club's parkland course will put your handicap to the test.
