KingSurrounded by tranquil countryside and in one of the best places in the world to view the sky at night, Bythmoy is a fabulous cottage which marries traditional features with contemporary living at its best. Whether you are looking for a base for your family holiday or a Cornish getaway with friends, here you will find all you need for the perfect escape.
Step inside and you will instantly fall in love with the fabulous interiors. The sitting-room invites you to relax on the comfy sofas and warm your toes by the wood-burner, making this the ideal location for year-round breaks. You will also find a Smart TV so everyone can enjoy their favourite movie after a busy beach day. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a delight, with bi-fold doors framing the gorgeous countryside views and inviting you to dine inside or out depending on the weather. The chef in the party will delight in the kitchen which has all the equipment needed to cook a holiday meal, and of course the all-important dishwasher. On the ground floor you will also find a handy shower-room, ideal for rinsing salty toes and muddy paws.
Climb the stairs to the first floor and two bedrooms await. Bedroom one is furnished in lovely neutral shades and has a comfy double bed whilst bedroom two has bunk-beds which the children will adore. The family bathroom on this floor has a bath with shower over so you can choose either a long soak or a refreshing shower. Take the climbing stairs up to the second-floor bedroom where you will find pretty bedroom three with a king-size bed and Velux windows, perfect for star gazing.
Outside, Bythmoy has a sunny patio and grassed lawn where the dogs can relax and you can sit and take in the blissful countryside views, the perfect holiday pastime.
Newmill is a small hamlet situated in the rural splendour overlooking the beautiful unspoilt countryside of west Cornwall. Dotted with ancient monuments, pathways and bridle tracks, walkers will be in heaven here. A short drive away the north and south Cornish coasts await, and you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding where to explore. Surfers should head for the vast sandy beaches and Atlantic rollers of the north coast, with Hayle, St Ives and Sennen being top of the list. Iconic St Ives has much to offer including pretty cobbled streets, a fabulous selection of eateries and art galleries including the Tate which overlooks Porthmeor Beach.
The gentler south coast offers calmer waters and picturesque fishing villages including pretty as a picture Mousehole and vibrant Newlyn. Iconic St Michael's Mount is quite special, and a visit here entails a walk along the causeway at low tide or ferryboat if the tide is high. Whilst you are in the area take a wander around Marazion where you will find an eclectic assortment of shops and galleries.
Whether you plan to spend your days relaxing in your gorgeous holiday home or explore further afield, make happy holiday memories at Bythmoy.

Please take care in the confined space and sloping ceilings in Bedroom 3 and on the narrow stairs and turning stairs leading up to the second floor. There is a step down from the sitting-room into the hallway leading to the kitchen. Please be mindful of your dogs when in the garden as the field over the hedge often has cows and horses visiting and the local farmer would prefer them to be kept quiet.
