From this wonderful location on the Rame peninsula you can enjoy the magic of beautiful seascapes, bays, beaches and coves and endless miles of stunning coastal footpaths. Found in the pretty hamlet of Portwrinkle, the beach and coastal walks are a mere stone's throw away, as is the links golf course for those who want to put their handicap to the test, and to indulge in some good old Cornish hospitality the village pub is a 10 minute stroll up the hill along with a little community shop.
The historic houses and gardens of Mount Edgcumbe and Antony (National Trust) are close by as is the renowned Port Eliot, home of the annual festival and a whole host of events held throughout the year. The charming twinned coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with their winding streets, pastel-coloured cottages and a great choice of places to eat and drink are well worth a visit and for a complete contrast, head to the maritime city of Plymouth to visit the historic Barbican, famous Plymouth Hoe and the city's latest hotspot, The Royal William Yard.
