The steep, open, offset-tread spiral stairs lead you to the second bedroom and oh my, what a treat it is. A spacious room with a comfy king-size bed to ensure a good night's sleep, sitting-area for relaxing with your first cuppa of the day, a stylish ensuite shower-room and a huge window leading onto a Juliet balcony with yet more of that wonderful view - it's the perfect excuse for long leisurely lie-ins!

The shortest of walks down the hill and you are in the heart of the village where you'll find a beach cafe, village pub and bistro along with the beautiful riverside walks of Seaton Country Park and Nature Reserve where you can spot otters, kingfishers and butterflies, to name but a few.

The beach is sure to be your playground whether it's a morning dip before breakfast, paddle-boarding or bodyboarding, venturing in the rock pools or even shore fishing. At low tide you can walk for miles along the water's edge heading west towards Looe and east to Rame Head, your four-legged friends will love it and as it's dog-friendly all year they never miss out. At high tide, stroll along the promenade to the neighbouring village of Downderry where there are more choices of places to eat and drink along with a village shop for those essential items.

The pretty twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with their pastel coloured cottages huddled together along the streets with shops, galleries and even more pubs and cafes, are well worth a visit and at nearby Mount Edgcumbe the historic house and gardens, acres of open parkland and wooded walks and a whole host of events provide a complete contrast to your seaside setting.

Please note there is a steep spiral staircase to bedroom two, this room also has some sloping ceilings so please mind your head. Ocean View has two parking areas; one above the property at the back, you then descend 30 steps down to the property, or one below the property next to the lane that leads down to the beach and village - there are 50 steps from this parking area to the property. Ocean View may not be suitable for young children because of the steps from the parking area and the steep spiral staircase, and there is limited room in bedroom one for a travel cot.
