High Lea is a beautifully refurbished family house, nestled in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and boasting the most breathtaking and unrivalled sea views. This fabulous holiday location offers you everything you could wish for from a coastal holiday home.

High Lea is perched overlooking the beach at Bigbury-on-Sea; a five minute downhill stroll finds you surrounded by golden sand, rock pools galore and rolling waves – there's something for everyone, absolute heaven! However, please remember what goes down must come up, therefore it is suggested that anyone who is not wishing to walk back up the hill (which is a distance of 400 yards) takes advantage of the car park which is readily available at the bottom of the hill, in front of the beach. High Lea has been designed and decorated with careful thought and precision. The large glass windows and patio doors ensure that the stunning sea view is always on display from the open plan living areas, making stepping out onto the decked-area irresistible – especially when the stunning sunset appears.

When the evenings get a little cooler, the charming wood-burner is ready and waiting to create a super-cosy and snuggly environment. All this in one package and, the best bit is, your four-legged friends are also welcome!

There really is so much to see and do in this wonderful location, relaxing and unwinding in this unspoilt area is easy. Dining al fresco is a must, you are guaranteed the most wonderful vantage point from the privately enclosed garden.

Should you have an adventure monkey in the group, surfing, windsurfing and kite-surfing are all very popular on Bigbury beach and with the facilities and equipment located on the beach readily available for hire, what are you waiting for! Bigbury is also home to well-known Burgh Island. A trip over to this captivating island via sea tractor is a real must; a rare and unique treat which the younger members of your group will talk about for years. Whilst on the island why not pay a visit to the pub? The Pilchard Inn has quenched thirsts for over 700 years, and clientele ranging from local fishermen to smugglers and wreckers alike have enjoyed the delights within. Or perhaps the Art Deco hotel is on your 'to do' list, which has also welcomed guests such as Agatha Christie, The Beatles and Noel Coward in years gone by.

The beaches, coastal walks and surrounding areas in this stunning location offer you adventure, unspoilt beauty and endless entertainment in every direction. The towns and villages of Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth, Totnes and Brixham are also within striking distance via car. These exceptionally popular towns and villages all hold so much individual charm and character, making them a great day out for all the family. High Lea is a super all year round holiday location; with a huge range of activity, unspoilt natural beauty and a golden beach right on your doorstep – what is not to love!
