Set in the heart of the picturesque village of St Mawes, with a wonderful sea view across the rooftops, this comfortable terraced cottage is within easy walking distance of the excellent local shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs, Summers beach and of course the renowned Hotel Tresanton.

The accommodation is reversed to take full advantage of the view across the Fal estuary, which can be best enjoyed from the attractive living/dining-room and its balustrade Juliet balcony. Both bedrooms are light and airy, and from the main bedroom you can access the outside sheltered terrace-area where al fresco dining is a must.

This is a great base for a holiday. Being within the Gulf Stream, the climate in this area is very mild all year round and summer temperatures can compare with the Mediterranean resulting in some beautiful local gardens.

The area is a mecca for the boating and yachting fraternity but if you don’t partake you can simply watch the many events, races and regattas arranged by the local clubs.

Historians might like to visit the local English Heritage castle built by King Henry VIII (well, not personally) and then hop on the passenger ferry to the bustling town of Falmouth and visit the one he built on the other side of the estuary.
