The Dairy is another extremely comfortable single-storey cottage in this small and friendly farm development. This property has French doors to its own enclosed outside space – the patio is quite a sun-trap – and has lovely views across the farmland to the stunning cliffs of the Jurassic Coast and Golden Cap beyond. The open plan layout is fresh and bright and this lovely pied-a-terre is very well-equipped too.

This working farm on the edge of the historic village of Chideock stretches gently downhill to the Jurassic Coast where one of Dorset's most famous landmarks – Golden Cap – rises above the sea. This is a great section of the South West Coast Path – a challenge to get to the top but rewarded with the stunning views.

Three original farm buildings have been converted into these lovely holiday cottages - The Linhay (2661), The Parlour (2662) and The Dairy (2663) – with great flexibility if you wish to book two, or all three, together. With the footpath leading from the original farmstead alongside fields directly to the coastal path and the pebbled beach, this is a perfect base for a family or walking holiday. There is a lovely family-friendly seaside pub at the end of the track, with its sunny beer gardens overlooking the beach – a great treat at the end of the walk!

These three barn conversions are clustered together next to the existing farm buildings and children will delight in watching the tractors going past and working in the fields in the valley, especially at harvest time.
