The Dairy is another extremely comfortable single-storey cottage in this small and friendly farm development. This property has French doors to its own enclosed outside space – the patio is quite a sun-trap – and has lovely views across the farmland to the stunning cliffs of the Jurassic Coast and Golden Cap beyond. The open plan layout is fresh and bright and this lovely pied-a-terre is very well-equipped too.

On the edge of the historic village of Chideock, sits this working farm with three original farm buildings that have been converted into these lovely holiday cottages - The Linhay (2661), The Parlour (2662) and The Dairy (2663) - with the option of booking two or all three. These three barn conversions are clustered together next to the existing farm buildings.

With the footpath leading from the original farmstead alongside fields, directly to the coastal path and the pebbled beach, this is a perfect base for a family or walking holiday. The Jurrasic Coast is nearby, where one of Dorset's most famous landmarks - Golden Cap - rises above the sea. This is a great section of the South West Coast Path - a challenge to get to the top but rewarded with the stunning views!

This is the perfect setting for a family holiday; being a working farm, children will love to watch all the tractors going past and working in the fields in the valley, especially at harvest time. Perhaps a stroll to the lovely seaside pub at the end of the track, with its sunny beer gardens might tempt you!
