If you want that perfect blend of coast and countryside, then Snuggledown is a great choice as the beaches, coastal walks and pretty waterside towns and villages along south coast, are the shortest of drives away.

Snuggledown is a wonderfully cosy, peaceful retreat whatever time of year you visit. Inside this detached, single-storey cottage the lovely views from the spacious sitting-area are shared by the bedroom, so relaxing with a morning cup of tea in bed is a must. The bathroom has a double-ended bath and under-floor heating, so no danger of chilly toes!
This lovely cottage is ideally placed for exploring much of Cornwall; For gardening enthusiasts, a trip to the Eden Project is a must, not forgetting The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock Estate (National Trust) as well. For some fun on two wheels, Lanhydrock has a great network of cycling routes for all abilities and for a really leisurely ride, join the renowned Camel Trail at Bodmin and cycle out to Wadebridge and then onto Cornwall's culinary capital, Padstow, on the north coast.
In the picture perfect sailing town of Fowey, wander the narrow streets and browse the boutique shops and galleries, stopping off for some refreshments at one of the many eateries on offer and nostalgic Charlestown, where tall ships are moored in the tiny harbour, conjures images of bygone days.
The local village of Luxulyan has a charming pub, popular with both locals and visitors alike, and you can pick up essential provisions in the little pop up shop.
