Snuggledown is a fantastic barn conversion and l loved the interior. The couch and the armchair have a relax mode for extra comfort. We especially enjoyed the surrounding nature. You have the loveliest view through the windows. All the birds come to make a visit and even cows are there from time to time. For your dog there is a nearly enclosed meadow in front of the house and a woodland walk with a wonderful stream nearby. You have to make a little drive to Fowey or other interesting spots, but that place is so worth it. The host is very kind and helpful. I cannot recommend this place high enough, if you are looking for a tranquil place in the countryside. ...

We had a lovely week at Snuggledown Cottage where the owners Verna & Dana were very welcoming and helpful without being at all intrusive. We really appreciated the cream tea, flowers & fridge basics on arrival too. The cottage is really comfortable, well equipped with everything you could need and very light & airy too. The garden is large and very peaceful and our dog loved exploring the space and the beautiful woods where we walked most days (owned by the family). It’s a short drive to the coast, local towns and several pubs. A perfect stay, we’ll definitely be returning! ...

Wonderful tranquil stay in the country at Snuggledown but still a central location for exploring. Great hosts with lovely welcome touches. Very clean, everything supplied you could need.

Snuggledown was a bright and attractive property, really well equipped and comfortable with a lovely outlook; owner Verna was so welcoming and helpful and she added lots of extra touches which show true hospitality - homemade scones with our very much appreciated cream tea on arrival, beautiful bunch of flowers, soft fluffy towels, apples aplenty to pick from the trees in the garden etc. We used the cottage as a base for coastal walking, but took a day off to explore the Luxulyan Valley (as it is accessed through Verna's woodland) with its very impressive granite via/aqueduct, ending up at the Kings Arms at Luxulyan for a hearty lunch - we can recommend....

A wonderful very well equipped, peaceful cottage set among the rolling hills but only a short drive to the coast. Owners Verna and Kay are welcoming without being intrusive. We appreciated the thoughtful cream tea and basics in the fridge on arrival. Snuggledown is a perfect 'get away from it all' cottage way down small country lanes (don't follow the sat nav, use the directions given when booking in, it's a much better route). The garden overlooking the fields is full of birds and wildlife and we spent much of our holiday relaxing enjoying the outdoors. There is a wonderful walk left out of the cottage driveway gate down to the Luxulyan valley and viaduct. A short drive away are bustling Fowey and Charlestown, both of which we visited more than once. A great place for a relaxing holiday....
