Wonderful place to stay with family/friends, surrounded by beautiful countryside and with so many beaches within easy reach. Ideal for walks, going to the beach, with plenty of shops, pubs and other places to visit nearby.

We had a lovely time at Trethevey Old Barn, it is perfectly situated for our family as we like the nearby beaches, the walks in the woods, places to visit, the whole area in fact, and close to the picturesque town of Fowey. We had a glorious week here. The location is beautiful and tranquil. Verna and her son were wonderfully kind and generous- a scrumptious cream tea and vases of fresh flowers were a lovely touch. Verna was always willing to answer any queries, she lent us another dish to make 2 crumbles using her delicious apples! The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty of hot water for showers and baths. The kitchen is well equipped and the dogs really enjoyed the grounds.
