Trethevey has been a firm family favourite for many years. We love the area, its walks and beaches, and there are just so many places close by to visit - it doesn't matter what time of year it is.

Beautiful setting and lovely walks around the cottage. The cottage itself has excellent character with good use of space. The book nook is fantastic and my daughter who is 16 loved spending time in it. The surrounding area is easily accessible. The cottage is in a fantastic spot being only 30 miles from most major tourist attractions and only 10 minute drive to the Eden project. Par beach is fantastic, this is only 2 miles away from the cottage....

The setting is quite magical, with ancient stone walls wrapping protective arms around the visitors and the view looking down the field, with its curious cattle, is beautiful and very peaceful. We all wished we could stay longer, but hopefully we’ll be back at some point in the future. ...

Lovely rural property with interesting walks from the front door. Our hostess gave us a warm personal welcome with lots of information about the area. Her description of an alternative route to miss a very narrow difficult lane was accurate and helpful also. ...
