We had a glorious week here. The location is beautiful and tranquil. Verna and her son were wonderfully kind and generous- a scrumptious cream tea and vases of fresh flowers were a lovely touch. Verna was always willing to answer any queries, she lent us another dish to make 2 crumbles using her delicious apples! The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty of hot water for showers and baths. The kitchen is well equipped and the dogs really enjoyed the grounds. Thank you Verna, we’d love to come back. ...

Trethevey Cottage is a good place to stay, it has plenty of room for the larger/extended family. It is quite central for getting around Cornwall and the owners are very accommodating, nothing too much trouble. I would certainly recommend.

Trethevey has been a firm family favourite for many years. We love the area, its walks and beaches, and there are just so many places close by to visit - it doesn't matter what time of year it is.

We really enjoyed the quiet location and the feeling of remoteness yet being very close to a wide range of walks and really interesting places to visit. The king-size bed is very comfy and the owner is really helpful. As others have commented the local lanes are narrow but passing is only potentially a problem for a couple of minutes on the "short" route to the main road, and it was easy to negotiate our way round the only vehicle we met all week....
