Beautiful Bigbury beach is a superb day out for all the family. A magical sea tractor journey will get you over to Burgh Island when the tide is in, what a adventure that is for the younger members of the party.
The beautiful town of Kingsbridge is only a short car journey away.
If you want to really enjoy all the delights of Devon, Dartmoor is only a car journey away (approximately 40 minutes). Most certainly worth the effort.

We stayed at the lovely Mount Folly Farmhouse with our young family over the Easter holiday period. We didn’t want to leave and actually stayed on a few extra days due to availability. The house itself is very comfortable, it’s so well positioned with views straight out to the sea from many rooms in the house. We loved exploring the trails, walking to Burgh Island and we can’t believe the added bonus of fresh pizzas and bread by the owners on the weekend - it really is such good quality and value for money! Helen and Peter were wonderful hosts, very friendly and kind always. We are dreaming of our next visit already. It felt very Famous Five - our kids loved it, as did we! ...

Beautiful location, excellent hosts and spotlessly clean. Coffee and milk available for us on arrival which we really appreciated. Also loved the ability to be able to buy fresh farm produce and delicious pizzas on site! Absolutely loved the hot tub with glorious views....
