As a family, we regularly holiday in Cornwall, but this was our first time to St Mawes - a beautiful location and a fabulous holiday home with the most idyllic views and very high property specification. The village has pretty much all that you need, with a good pub and hotel restaurants, a grocery shop, bakery and a rather nice deli / café serving fresh coffee at Mr Scorse's. It even has a Tudor castle! Took the local ferry to Falmouth, with lots to do and see, as well as many beautiful country gardens to explore, and walks to the lighthouse and the very pretty church and churchyard at St Just in Roseland that leads down to the creek. We went in April - beautiful spring colours and warm enough to thoroughly enjoy!...

Difficult to find anything to complain about at Summers, everything is of a high standard and the views are amazing. Only one problem for us, Summers has spoilt it for future holidays anywhere else.
