Mellifount is a little piece of heaven… The cottage is beautiful, adequately stocked with everything you could possibly need and the setting just perfect… Hosts Trevor and Julia are amazing…there if u need them but not intrusive in any way. Their dogs Finn, Marley & Dylan were an added bonus to our stay… Would 100% recommend a stay at Mellifount…...

We spent a wonderful September week at Mellifount Farm! After our day trips it was always sheer joy to come back to the very cosy 'barn' with its relaxing view on the meadows, the horses, the dogs and the trees in the distance. We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is great, walkable across the fields into Newick, but in a beautifully secluded and peaceful spot where you could sit and watch the horses in the paddock opposite. The owners were lovely and their dogs were totally adorable. We loved the way they would just pop in to say hi … the dogs not their owners. We would love to return....
