Hayesland Lodge was a perfect holiday let for my husband and I to enjoy our week in East Sussex. We explored inland and to the coast - the roads were quiet and very scenic. We particularly enjoyed Great Dixter, Rye and Winchelsea but ran out of time to visit all the places on our list. We will definitely return to this very comfortable cottage. ...

A wonderful place to chill out for a week. On a quiet road with extensive views, a sunny garden, and good walks from the door. Our host designed the cottage himself, and has thought of everything for our comfort and convenience. He also has a wonderful friendly old dog. Good pubs locally, and lots of places to visit. ...

We’ve had a lovely stay at Hayesland. Very nice comfortable cottage with beautiful views in the very quiet and peaceful countryside. The cottage has everything you need and we didn’t even miss the WiFi! It’s not bad to be a little less online. Rye is a lovely town with everything you would want....
