The cottage is truly fantastic; the outdoor area, with its view across the bay and the sunsets, is indescribable (even better than the photos). The views from inside (living room and bedrooms 1 and 2) are also superb, thanks to the large windows! The bedrooms and bathroom are a little small, as you’d expect from the age of the building, but that’s precisely what gives the cottage its charm. Ommen is very well equipped and has modern facilities. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk down via the steps to the lovely sandy beach and the village’s amenities (pub, beach bar, café, small grocery shop). As described in the listing, access to the house is via a steep flight of steps, and parking on the street is a bit of a challenge, but it’s all manageable. The team at Classic Cottages were very easy to get hold of and helpful. When a minor technical issue arose, a very competent craftsman was sent out straight away. We’d love to come back!...

This is a lovely, charming cottage in a great location. It's mere minutes from the beach, but still secluded enough for you to feel that you're having an entirely private getaway. It was our first time in Cornwall and it was a hit. We travelled as 5-Person family with a small dog and found a perfect place to stay: enough space for everybody, in all directions a stunning view.
