Lovely place. The big window in the lounge looks out across fields, so you can watch birds and bunnies in the mornings or (in our case) enjoy some brutal March storms with the log burner to keep us warm. Bed is ridiculously comfy. Fairly small kitchen, but does the job. Big table for food, books and jigsaws. Lots to do as well: you can walk up to the South Downs Way from the doorstep or there are a handful of pretty towns nearby. If you're an art-lover, Petworth House is a treat and we also really enjoyed Jane Austen's House in Chawton and her tiny writing table. Weald & Downland Living Museum isn't bad, but go in the morning - we went at lunchtime and all the demonstrations had finished. The Chagall window in Chichester Cathedral is really special. Wish we'd had time to visit Bosham Harbour and some of the RSBP sites. ...
