We’ve stayed at lots of places booked from this website (all excellent) - this was the best. The accommodation is perfect: everything you will need is here, it’s spacious and equipped with all of the modern tech you could need (lovely big TVs and lazy-boy sofas for film nights) is incredibly comfortable and is in a beautiful location. We ate-in each night, and it was as easy to cater for ourselves as it is at home. The beds are comfortable and there is a lovely peace and quiet (our children also adored the horses dogs and cats…not to mention the hot-tub of course, which has amazing views down to the estuary). There are local walks on your doorstep and easy access to several interesting places to explore just a car ride away. The owners are really lovely and helpful too, giving us suggestions of things to see and do. We came back feeling refreshed after a wonderful break. This cottage comes highly recommended. My daughter, granddaughter and I had a very enjoyable few days at Stable Lodge. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped; we especially appreciated the good quality toddler-friendly additions. It's just a short walk from the marina, with lovely views across the fields to the water from the hot tub on one side, and on the other, views of the paddock and the horses, with Felixstowe beyond. We even saw deer running across the fields. Plenty to do in the area, especially if you like walking, but we also enjoyed just relaxing at the Lodge one particularly rainy morning....

It was a lovely week, except for the weather! We managed to get out all the days. We didn't use the hot tub, there was a hot tub there. All was immaculate, they even left us apples and bananas, biscuits and tea and coffee and sugar. There were flowers in the main living room and the main bedroom. I would highly recommend Stable Lodge....
