This property is in a stunning location with easy access to Helensburgh with it's many shops, cafes and restaurants. The property is immaculate throughout and has everything you need for your stay. The local pub, The Rhu Inn, is a 5 minute walk, the food is excellent and the staff very friendly. The Rhu Marina cafe is a great, local place to visit - 10-15 minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay....

Enjoyed our week's stay at Cape Gare. The view of Loch Gare was spectacular. The accommodation was clean, warm and cosy, with a nice welcome pack on arrival.

What a great place! Cape Gare is brilliantly located and set-up perfectly for 2 people to enjoy a very comfortable stay, plus some very thoughtful touches to make your visit even more enjoyable. The views are as good as the pictures indicate and there are great walks from the door. Rhu and Helensburgh has an excellent range of shops, bars and restaurants, but if you want to explore further-a-field, road access is good into the Highlands/City. Alternatively the train station is central, with parking easily available In the surrounding local streets. Our top visit was to Balloch Castle Country Park, about 9 miles away, beautiful location for walking, taking a boat ride or sitting on the shores of Loch Lomond. We had a wonderful stay at Cape Gare and hope to visit again. ...

We had a wonderful week at Cape Gare. The setting is lovely and we spent many hours just staring at the view. It was extremely peaceful and quiet. It is also very convenient for visiting local attractions such as Loch Lomond and Loch Katrine boat trips The cottage itself is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and has all modern facilities. The bed is truly super king and very comfortable and the bathroom has a roomy shower. The owner was welcoming and keen to make sure that we had everything we need. Greatly enjoyed it and hope to return soon...
