Fabulous cottage, really well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful views that were ever changeable with the river tides. Swans came to visit every day. Excellent location for visiting attractions on the Lizard and south Cornwall. Would recommend the pub in Mawgan for an evening meal and Gear pasties to make your picnic with!...

Very happy with our stay at The Boathouse. The location is excellent, not far from Porthleven, which is well worth a visit. The views over the river are beautiful and made the stay even more special. The interior is stylish, well presented, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend it to others. We would happily return ourselves....

The cottage is exceptional in every way and was very clean. The fittings and furnishings are of a very high quality and the welcome pack with scones, clotted cream, butter, cheese, milk, tea & coffee and biscuits was very generous. We enjoyed the daily visits of two swans with their cygnet and couldn‘t resist feeding them. The location is perfect for visiting the Lizard Peninsula. Although some roads are VERY narrow, even with a left hand drive SUV, driving was no problem. We highly recommend the Boathouse....

This cottage was amazing, so well designed and equipped. The location is amazing being right on the Estuary which was ideal as a paddle boarder and swimmer, you just need to plan with the tide times but you have a couplenof hours either side.of high tide. Such a relaxing location we will definitely be back!...
