The Old Dairy is the farthest building visible in the photograph (there are 4 polytunnels now in situ housing goats). Knowlton Church is a short distance away.
The skies above The Old Dairy can be astounding. In 2023 the Aurora Borealis was visible above Knowlton Church.
Knowlton Church is a Norman church built within a neolithic henge and The Old Dairy sits on the southern fringes.
The glorious sandy beaches in the east of the county are a short drive away.

Beautifully decorated barn with great connections to the rest of Dorset. We visited as a family of 3 with a 6yr old. Lovely surroundings with the interesting Knowlton Church and earthworks just a short walk. Outside space is really nice in the morning or evening to watch the swallows or the sunset. The barn is on a fast road as others have said. You can hear it if you listen for it, but this didn't bother us. If you are a light sleeper and are easily woken by the sun, take an eye mask as one of the bedrooms gets very bright early, the other stays dark. We found getting around really simple. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of small country roads but every direction we chose to go in was easily accesible on main roads. We visited Lulworth cove and Durdle door, Kingston Lacy etc. Supermarkets a few miles away. We left feeling that there was much more we would have liked to see. ...

Everything about The Old Dairy exceeded our expectations. This is a beautiful property that is obviously very well looked after by the owners and it’s so comfortable and cosy that it’s makes an excellent holiday destination all year round. There is plenty to do close by for children and there are also some lovely forest walks and local pubs serving good food, so everyone is happy. We hope to be back again for another stay soon! ...

This was a first class property, well equipped with nothing spared to make it feel luxurious. The electronic gates made it very secure. It was very convenient to head out to various coastal locations. Our worry regarding the goats was unfounded as there was no noise or smells from them. Highly recommend....
