A beautiful home from home property. Beautifully furnished with a fabulous outdoor space for children. Close to lots of children’s activities and parks and lots of lovely beaches. We would highly recommend.

Wootton cottage is lovely, very comfortable, huge outdoor space, with extra touches like the outdoor games chest and a chest of board games in one of the bedrooms. Tom, the host, was very helpful - we received a text at the booking stage with confirmation and his contact details for any questions, a text on arrival inviting us to visit the animals at the Manor, and he was quick to respond to our texts with questions, let us know about the High Bickington Summer Fete (which was a nice couple hour visit) and dropped off extra logs for us on request. I’ve already recommended this cottage to friends and will definitely stay here again myself in future. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!...

This was a delightful property in a lovely location. The views from the garden are wonderful and we found it peaceful and relaxing. The garden was also one of the very few we have come across that is both large and completely fenced which meant our dog could roam without us worrying. The lodge itself is warm and airy, with an attractive interior and a large kitchen area which was perfect for us. A good utility room was also invaluable. The nearby village has a charming and well supplied community shop and although the lodge is quiet and rural it is within a short drive of many interesting places. We had everything we needed and plan to return next year. ...
