The approach to Leat Mill Cottage is over the small bridge and down beside the river.
This is the lane down to the river and the cottages beyond. A short walk along here takes you into the main village.
Locally known for excellent food is The Arundell Arms in the village, a bit of a hill to get to it but downhill all the way home.

Within walking distance is a good pub.

We have stayed twice and booked for a third time in September. We love everything about Leat Mill Cottage, from the thoughtful touches like fresh fruit, flowers, and a dog bowl filled with water ready for our little pugs after a long drive, to sitting on the sofa watching a woodpecker feed at the bird feeder. It is also extremely quick and easy to settle into with parking very close to the cottage, and lots of cupboard space. We were fully unpacked and sitting in the lovely garden, enjoying the cream tea kindly provided by the owners, within an hour of arrival!...

The cottage was set in a beautiful location and was very peaceful too. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need. It is well situated for visiting different places in Cornwall and Devon. The hosts were really helpful and available on site should they be needed. They left a delicious welcoming Devon cream tea.
