The approach to Leat Mill Cottage is over the small bridge and down beside the river.
This is the lane down to the river and the cottages beyond. A short walk along here takes you into the main village.
Locally known for excellent food is the Arundell Arms in the village, a bit of a hill to get to it but downhill all the way home.

Within walking distance is a good pub.

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The location is excellent: down a very quiet lane, but walking distance of village facilities. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. Thank you for the welcome pack, and cream tea...yum! We would definitely stay here again....

Our first stay in Leat Mill Cottage… and it didn’t disappoint! The owners were on hand when we arrived & it was great to meet them, they had made the cottage warm & cosy with the woodburner lit, ( we arrived in the cold snap), very cosy. All very comfortable & clean a lovely cottage set in a beautiful setting surrounded by historical buildings etc. Lovely to have the cream tea & other items left for us. A short walk up to the village with a local store or a must is visiting the Strawberry Fields Farmshop! We only had a long weekend but we would love to come back as previous guests have said & stay for longer. It was lovely seeing a bit of snow on Dartmoor! Thank you to the owners for letting us share their property....

Lovely cottage. Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely situation by the river. Comfortabel cottage. Great bed, we slept like angels! We loved staying here. We came from Holland with an electric car. Only 2 minutes from the cottage was a Tesla supercharger station where you can also load other EVs. Great! We loved Strawberry Fields! Great scones and coffee and shop. ...

Located in a most peaceful, tranquil setting, Leat Mill Cottage is the perfect place to relax. Ideally placed to explore Devon and Cornwall, or to simply enjoy excellent local walking or, as did my son and I, some of Devon's best fishing! The owners are open and friendly but this does not compromise respecting their guests' privacy and solitude. A beautiful place, and one I intend to return to at the first opportunity....
