Bedroom three offers the perfect kids' hideout, this really is a room that will delight. Please note there is a door in this room out to the back of the house but is locked.

The bathroom really is a treat, the perfect spot to soak and relax. This room also has a sink and sits opposite the shower-room on the ground floor.

We had a great family holiday at the mill house.The house was full of character and charm.The garden was beautiful with different areas to sit and lots of nooks to investigate. The pool table was a huge hit with all of us as was the games room at the top of the garden. We enjoyed days out to Bude, Crackington Haven and Boscastle but we were always happy to come back to relax in the house or sit in the lovely garden. Thankyou “Mill House” for giving us many happy memories of quality time spent together. One disappointment however was that there was no swing which upset my little granddaughter on arrival,it should be replaced as it is shown on the website....

I wouldn’t recommend the Mill House cottage, we stayed here for only 9 days as we left a day early. There is mold in the bedrooms, on the curtains, walls and ceilings. I would recommend Bude beach it was lovely to walk the dog.

While we would have been happy to arrange for the housekeeper to address your concerns at the time, we completely appreciate that you preferred not to be disturbed. As a listed building, the owners are limited in what changes can be made to the windows, and curtains resting against single-glazed panes can unfortunately show signs of mildew despite regular laundering. We’re pleased to confirm that there is no other evidence of damp in the property, though we do acknowledge that older buildings can sometimes carry a different scent. Mill House is an absolute gem of a property. Excellent for families and nature lovers. Lots to occupy yourselves should the weather wet. Comfort in the cottage was superb! I couldn’t recommend this more highly.

We really loved this place - so much care has gone into the decor and furnishings and bringing out the beauty of the building. The wow factor surpasses expectations when you see it for the first time, especially the main living area - it's just incredible, and as good as the pictures are they don't do it justice. Clean and fresh, a truly dog friendly garden (even in his prime, our old Terrier wouldn't have been able to get out) and a great location for days out - also the village is friendly and sweet. Highly recommended and although we rarely go to the same place twice, I wouldn't hesitate to return here....
