Nestled in a quiet little nook, this rather special Grade II Listed holiday abode sits a mile away from the dramatic and captivating scenery of the north coast of Cornwall and less than a mile away from the seaside town of Bude. Most importantly, the village of Marhamchurch offers a community shop for those last-minute essentials not forgetting the all-important village pub all within a short walk of The Mill House, you really have discovered the perfect location! This grand converted mill house offers the perfect backdrop for family and friends to come together and holiday in style and of course no holiday is complete without the family four-legged friend who is most welcome!

This grand reverse-level semi-detached converted mill house will delight old and young from the minute you arrive after ducking through the original mill door - don't worry for those taller members of the family you can use the back door! On the split ground floor level, you will discover all four bedrooms offering not only the perfect spot to snuggle into the sumptuous beds with crisp linens, but beautiful styling, gorgeous little touches and oodles of space - the ideal option for reading a book or just indulging in a moment or two away from the family! Bedroom four can be found at the bottom of the four steps and benefits from a Freesat television as well as a rather swish en suite shower-room. For those younger members of the family many hours will be spent in the bunk bedroom enjoying the reading nook or playing - their imaginations can take over as they sail off to Never Never Land! Both the bathroom and shower-room are also located on the ground floor and are equally as stylish!

Head upstairs where this property really does offer the 'wow' factor! From the kitchen/breakfast-room level, you then head into the open plan living/dining/games-room! This room will be the memory maker room offering hours of fun for all the family, from games nights to feasts around the table or simply snuggling into the sofas indulging in a film whilst the fire crackles and warms those chillier nights. This is all framed by the original mill works frozen in time but not forgotten due to the grand vaulted ceiling, you just need to look up. In the kitchen/breakfast-room you can enjoy cooking up that all-important first morning brunch whilst planning a week's worth of adventures or simply enjoying the house and garden - the choice is yours, either way you're sure to go home recharged and refreshed!

Step out of the kitchen/breakfast-room and into the beautiful large garden where again you will continue to find little touches from statues to fun carved stones and not forgetting the swing that old and young can enjoy! This garden is split level so children will need to be supervised owing to the drop from the top level to the lower level. Hidden at the end of the garden there is yet another treat, the summer-house/games-room offers the ideal hideout perfectly positioned to take in the views of the rolling hills whilst the kids (old and young) enjoy some competitive table-tennis! The garden really does offer the perfect escape, with the children enjoying running freely with the family pooch in tow whilst the adults enjoy a sundowner as the barbecue takes the cooking strain, a wonderful way to end a fun filled day at your Cornish retreat!

The quaint village of Marhamchurch is a short stroll away from The Mill House where you will find pretty thatched cottages, a charming church and popular village pub for when the chef wants a night off. A mere mile and a half further on, the eclectic town of Bude awaits, a mecca for surfers, water sports lovers and families alike with a huge sandy beach and sheltered sea pool if you'd rather avoid the north Atlantic waves. The town itself has a good selection of galleries, surf shops and cafes, the perfect place to treat yourself to a cream tea (jam first of course!). Even closer to home you will find The Weir, a lovely lakeside cafe within walking distance that's also dog-friendly. Serving hearty breakfasts, wholesome lunches and delicious dinners, all accompanied by a beautiful waterside view of the fishing lake below. Walkers should head to Hartland, Cornwall's Heritage Coast with miles of dramatic scenery and an iconic lighthouse. Travel south and the quaint village of Boscastle is worth a visit for a good selection of cafes and eclectic shops or perhaps Tintagel, with its historic castle and spectacular bridge.
