Absaloutely amazing, Chas and Rachel was so welcoming and even took us to a pub and picked us up as we had no access to transport! They showed us around their farm and what they do there, gave us so much information about the alpacas, even got them in the pen so we could meet them up close and personal, all round just a lovely couple, would 100% reccomend to anybody looking to go away for a nice peaceful break. We will definitely be coming back :) ...

Chas was an absolute star. He welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel at home straight away. He had made sure the hot tub was ready for use on the day of arrival and everything was very clean and tidy. It was amazing to share a field with the alpacas and because we expressed an interest, Chas was kind enough to show us around his farm and what they do there! He even brought some alpacas into the barn so we could get up close with them! It was an overall great experience and I would definitely go back! ...

Had a great time staying in the Alpaca Hideaway, Google Maps led us the right direction which made things a lot easier considering we were also given instructions from the owners. Weather was on the downside but we had high hopes and enjoyed the hot tub and also the views. Loved having a cuddle with an Alpaca, an experience we won't forget and learnt a baby Alpaca is called a Cria. Lovely hosts and always there to help if needed. Thankyou! x...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alpaca Hideaway. The owners were kind enough to show us the barn, introduce us to the alpacas, and tell us all about their livelihood, which was so interesting. The alpacas are well looked after and a very unique selling point to this destination. It was very private and peaceful. We were in the nursery field and the mothers and babies were the perfect neighbours. They are a little curious but very quiet and soothing to watch in the morning with a coffee. The hut itself is cosy and compact. The kitchen being quite small is logistically a little awkward to manoeuvre and clean and we thought several times some kitchen roll and paper plates and cups would have been useful, albeit not very sustainable. However, this is also part of the charm of the hut. The hot tub can get very very hot so does sometimes need some cold water from the hose and you need to keep on top of the fire too but it doesn’t take that much effort. We would recommend this to anyone who loves animals / animal watching and wants some peace and quiet from the world for a few days. ...
