Perfect hut for two to enjoy a relaxing few days. Sharing the view with alpacas was lovely. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Log burner was great for the autumnal evenings and enjoyed a very warm dip in the hot tub fuelled by wood. Would stay here again.

Had a great time staying in the Alpaca Hideaway, Google Maps led us the right direction which made things a lot easier considering we were also given instructions from the owners. Weather was on the downside but we had high hopes and enjoyed the hot tub and also the views.

Loved having a cuddle with an Alpaca, an experience we won't forget and learnt a baby Alpaca is called a Cria.

Lovely hosts and always there to help if needed.

Thankyou! x

Chas and Rachel were excellent hosts, had everything we need and were very helpful, had the hot tub heated upon arrival, also took time out of there day to show us around the farm and meet the alpacas. Wish we had booked two extra nights!

A genuine hideaway. Lovely views and Alpacas gentle & curious.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay in an idyllic setting amongst the alpacas. It surpassed all expectations. The owners are friendly and welcoming and were happy to take time out of their weekend to show us around and explain the process of fleece to yarn ! We were delighted to be given the opportunity of getting up close to one of their beautiful animals which are a credit to them. We would highly recommend this property if your looking for nothing but peace and quiet.

We had the loveliest 2 night break at Alpaca Hideaway. The quiet location with the grazing Alpacas couldn’t have been more perfect. Chas and Rachel were excellent hosts, leaving us to enjoy our stay but being on hand if we needed anything. Highly recommend this super special hideaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alpaca Hideaway. The owners were kind enough to show us the barn, introduce us to the alpacas, and tell us all about their livelihood, which was so interesting. The alpacas are well looked after and a very unique selling point to this destination. It was very private and peaceful. We were in the nursery field and the mothers and babies were the perfect neighbours. They are a little curious but very quiet and soothing to watch in the morning with a coffee. The hut itself is cosy and compact. The kitchen being quite small is logistically a little awkward to manoeuvre and clean and we thought several times some kitchen roll and paper plates and cups would have been useful, albeit not very sustainable. However, this is also part of the charm of the hut. The hot tub can get very very hot so does sometimes need some cold water from the hose and you need to keep on top of the fire too but it doesn’t take that much effort. We would recommend this to anyone who loves animals / animal watching and wants some peace and quiet from the world for a few days.

Very easy to use! Lots of lovely getaways

Fantastic place to kick back and de-stress, the accommodation is superb and our hosts, Chas and Rachel were so friendly and welcoming. As for the alpacas, perfect neighbors, we spent hours just watching them, they were very curious especially with our little dog. We would happily go back again and can highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend it or stay at the alpaca hideaway again

We had a lovely time, the place is stunning and better than the photos we would definitely go back wish I had booked it for longer. Watching the sun rise with baby alpacas running round in the field just in front of the hot tub was my favourite part. Lovely place and perfect getaway.

Absaloutely amazing, Chas and Rachel was so welcoming and even took us to a pub and picked us up as we had no access to transport! They showed us around their farm and what they do there, gave us so much information about the alpacas, even got them in the pen so we could meet them up close and personal, all round just a lovely couple, would 100% reccomend to anybody looking to go away for a nice peaceful break. We will definitely be coming back :)

Chas was an absolute star. He welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel at home straight away. He had made sure the hot tub was ready for use on the day of arrival and everything was very clean and tidy. It was amazing to share a field with the alpacas and because we expressed an interest, Chas was kind enough to show us around his farm and what they do there! He even brought some alpacas into the barn so we could get up close with them! It was an overall great experience and I would definitely go back!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the alpaca hide away. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a wholesome weekend away in the country!

What an absolute gem! This really is a hideaway and a very special place.. the alpacas are adorable and so nice to mingle with them so freely and observe. Accommodation was comfortable and we had the warmest of welcomes too. The hot tub so kindly prepared for us was just perfect to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the stars from! A little piece of heaven! Thank you!
