We had a great stay at Pulborough House. It's a very comfortable house in a peaceful and attractive village, with easy access to coasts, moors, towns, cities, Devon and Cornwall. It's got a really nice garden and is walking distance to a great pub in the village. The owners went to a lot of effort to welcome us and ensure we had a lovely holiday...

A great location with many attractions within an easy drive (we are not walkers) and an excellent pub, The Castle Inn, in walking distance which also did takeaways. Pulborough House is very comfortable and well equipped and the owner was very helpful. Useful Lydford farm shop a very short drive for basics and weekend papers and great pasties. Visited Castle Drogo, Chagford (The Fat Mouse for cheese), the Garden House and Princetown. Simmons Park at Okehampton is worth a visit as is Tavistock for the Pannier Market and walk along the canal where the squirrels are very tame....
