We really enjoyed staying at Penpont. It's rustic, but stylish, spacious, and in a lovely location which is walkable to Polruan and Lantic bay (if you like a decent walk!). The kitchen was well equipped, and the garden is lovely if the weather's nice. We would happily stay there again. A lovely place to chill out and re-charge, with good access to local beaches and towns....

Penpont is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location with great access to the coast path and the Fowey estuary. The cottage is really well equipped with a lovely kitchen and a great garden. There was loads of space for a family of 6 and a dog. Just be aware that the parking is a little tight and tricky if you have a big car....

This is a lovely light, comfortable, well equipped place to stay with country views and local footpaths. The area is charming with some lovely villages and Fowey is a short ferry ride away- or a longer trip by car inland. It is a good place to visit for seafood cafés and there is a new Italian coffee shop near the carpark. Lovely big beach which the dog enjoyed too. Heligan also allows dogs and when we went in May the azaleas and rhododendrons were glorious. We would all want to stay in Penpont again and the ones who couldn’t come with us were cross they missed it!...
