As we have a dog we tend to use self-catering rather than hotels and this is now our firm favourite. As the weather was not perfect, but better than expected, we spent time around the island but next time, weather permitting, we would be very happy to spend the time at the property in the lovely garden with the wonderful view. The property had everything we could possibly need and was very tastefully fitted out. We were aware of John, the owner, being available if we needed advice etc. Although we know the Island very well there is always something new to discover - The Isle of Wight is a wonderful holiday destination. a lovely property metres from the solent. i was watching some gulls diving into the sea about 200 metres away when a dolphin burst out of the surface. one of the best properties i've stayed at.
