Oystercatcher is accessed over a short bridge that adapts with the tide (please take care). A ramp leads down to the pontoon where you can launch your kayak at high tide.

Looking back from the houseboat, the parking area is behind the fenced area, just off the road. There is a 30 mile an hour speed restriction here so no rushing traffic to disturb.

Bembridge village is a short walk away. Visit the National Trust windmill. the only surviving one on the island.
Across the harbour, along this lovely walkway, you can reach St Helen's Duver and cafe.

Oyster Catcher is a gem of a houseboat, beautifully designed with comfortable bedrooms. You immediately feel at home. Could have spent all my time there gazing out at the everchanging vista, but Bembridge is brilliant to explore and a great base to travel further....
