From the two private parking spaces, Oystercatcher can be found through the wooden gate.
Oystercatcher is accessed over a short bridge that adapts with the tide. A ramp leads down to the pontoon where you can launch your kayak at high tide.

Looking back from the houseboat, the parking area is behind the fenced area, just off the road. There is a 30 mile and hour speed restriction here so no rushing traffic to disturb.

Please take care on the ramp as this can change level depending on the tide levels.
Bembridge village is a short walk away. Visit the National Trust windmill. the only surviving one on the island.
Across the harbour, along this lovely walkway, you can reach St Helen's Duver and cafe.
No 8 Farm shop and café in Bembridge, for all your fresh and local goods.
The lifeboat station at Bembridge is an iconic landmark.
The steam train is great fun for all the family.
Further afield, St Catherines Lighthouse sits overlooking the Solent.
Steephill Cove is a pretty place and the cafe serves great crab pasties.
Visit the Needles for a family day out and test your nerves on the chairlift.

Beautiful boat in fabulous location. Cant beat sitting on the deck and watching the harbour.
Blackout blinds in the main bedroom would be good as the sun streams in early in the morning.

Just a wonderful piece of heaven!! A fabulous locaiton and a really well thought out accomodation providing airy space downstairs, 2 bathrooms and a utility room plus well proportioned and thought out space outside. Loved the shingled front patio area for bbq's. The views from the lounge, kitchen and balcony were gorgeous and the soft furnishings created a wonderful cosy and fresh environment to relax in. We'll be back!!...
