Beautiful, immaculate and extremely comfortable house. Tasteful furnishings. The beds and bedding are fabulous, including the room on the ground floor with the sofa bed. We really appreciated the hot, powerful showers and as a family of paddle boarders the outside shower was very useful after a day on the beach. Our weather was mixed but everyday we made use of the large patio for breakfast or a barbecue in the evening. We were a mixed age family group and my grandson appreciated the toys the owners left. The owners also left wet suits and bodyboards to borrow, much appreciated. The location is great for walkers as there are many walks from the door. We enjoyed walking to Hope Cove and along the coastal path to Thurlestone. So close to Salcombe and a particular favourite of ours South Milton Sands where we had breakfast in the cafe overlooking the sea. The basket of logs was much appreciated as we had a few chilly evenings. This house would be great as a winter let as well as in the summer as warm and cozy. Absolutely loved this house. Beautiful location. Perfect for a family gathering. The Lobster pod was excellent very good service and lovely food. BBQ at the cottage was a huge plus and the outside seating area.
