Eliotts Barn is a really lovely property in a quiet and idyllic location. The website photos are a true representation. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are very nice with good towels and the beds are very comfortable with nice crisp linen. There is plenty of space for everyone inside and out, we were 6 adults and 1 toddler. The garden is pleasant with a nice patio area and good garden furniture. There is a useful outdoor shower for sandy feet!!! It was nice to stay somewhere that was dog free as we do not have dogs ourselves. The owners obviously have a lot of pride in their property and it was a real home from home. The walk into Hope Cove took about half an hour down the lane, there are cars etc but it’s not too busy. There is a car park should you wish to drive there. The beaches are really beautiful with lots of rock pools at low tide, sandy beach and good for swimming and there are lots of walks too. The ‘Lobster Pot’ restaurant is definitely worth booking for a special treat, the food is fabulous as are the views. ‘The Cove’ also serves very good food. The walk back to Eliotts Barn helps to walk off lunch ?? Salcombe and Kingsbridge are close by and worth a visit, as is Totnes. We all had a great holiday!!...

Our extended family (grandparents, 3 adult ‘children’, one partner and 2 year old) had a wonderful week together at Eliott’s Barn. We loved being able to walk to the beach, pub and shop at Hope Cove, with its sheltered sandy beach perfect for young families, and access to the coast path. The cottage was spotless on arrival, extremely comfortable and well-equipped - we even borrowed wetsuits from the garden shed! The outdoor terrace with gas BBQ was great for family meals, while the outdoor hot shower was a real bonus after a day at the beach. ...

Eliotts Barn is a fabulous property and very well-appointed and equipped. The location is excellent and the owners made many kind efforts to make our stay a good one. It has an excellent location being so close to Hope Cove, and in easy reach of many other beaches and places to visit. The patio area and garden are very pleasant and there is a handy outside tap/shower, along with items to borrow. It is a very cosy place to stay....
