Mrs McCormack July 2025

We had a great stay at Easy Oars, a very quiet, spacious and comfortable property. The position in the village was perfect for the shop, ferry crossing and pubs. Swimming off the quay was possible a few minutes away or slightly further away on the lovely Kiln beach. Excellent walks from our doorstep too. The parking round the back of the property was easy to access with our Renault Captur, athough we only used our car once during the week. Would definitely recommend. ...

This was our favourite cottage from many we have stayed in over the years. So clean, beautifully decorated and light and airy....you instantly felt at home. The location is great, the most beautiful coastal walk to Mylor from your door. Bus stop less than a minutes walk and the ferry across to Falmouth 2 minutes walk away. (We decided on a mussel travel card which allows unlimited travel for 6 days) 2 pubs less than a minute away, the Royal standard especially friendly, and the most well stocked village shop I've ever seen. (Also the best fresh sourdough delivered every morning) Can't wait to return, thank you so much. ...

Mr Bealing August 2025

We were so impressed with Easy Oars in June we came back for another week in August. The house is spotlessly clean, very well equipped & in an ideal location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The quay is around a 2 minute walk & the nearest pub just 1 minute away with the quaint beach in walking distance too. There is a regular ferry across to Falmouth during the day. ...

Great location, fab walks and pubs and local shop all within 2 minute walk. Lovely cottage and very well equipped Please be aware if you have a dog the garden is not enclosed, there is a small wooden retractable gate that can be used to stop smaller dogs but wouldn’t be suitable for larger dogs imo, it worked fine for our Cavapoo. Parking is slightly tricky if you have a larger vehicle but we managed just fine in a GLA just takes a few manoeuvres to get in and out, parking in Flushing is generally quite limited so it’s a good addition having the private space. Highly recommend a visit or 2 to the Harbour House pub look out for their special events as they usually have something going on in the week. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at the Waterside Restaurant on the quay. Also great option of leaving the car behind and getting the little Ferry Falmouth for a day out. Overall we had an excellent holiday and can’t wait to book again for Cornwall next year. ...
