Fantastic attention to detail, everything is well thought out and equipped to a high standard. A lot of thought has gone into making your visit as easy and relaxed as possible, with the little things provided that make life easier, dish washer tabs, loo rolls, bin liners, washing up liquid and even a lovely welcome pack. The house was very clean and the garden area well kept and tidy, with plenty of seating. Plenty of room for car parking. Because the cottage is down a small side road, there is no traffic noise. There is the delight of the steam train, although in summer you can only really see the steam, due to trees and bushes, it adds to the atmosphere. Walks from here are easy to get to, we used the free version app of OS maps as the pathways are well marked, but Google is also fine. Choose a route that crosses the steam railway, for great views. We took the steam railway from Corfe to Swanage and back, it ran approx every two hours in each direction, about £30 return. Don't forget to visit the local artist at the Corfe Railway station. The local deer came to say hello most mornings. It's an easy walk down to the village, with its many pubs and cafes, plus a great bakery. The local bakery caters for vegans (for several of our group). Remember to book for dinner as these pubs are very popular. We liked the Greyhound. The TV in the lounge is smart, so is easy to log into Netflix etc -- Remember to log out! Thank you for a delightful stay....

We had a wonderful stay at Acorns: our favourite holiday cottage, by far. Excellent location, excellent comfort and standard of finish to the cottage and extremely well equipped, with everything you need. Corfe Castle is a lovely spot-we were spoilt for choice for places to eat, lovely gift shops and of course, the castle itself. ...

Perfect cottage in a perfect location. Peaceful while still minutes from Corfe Castle and village shops and excellent pubs. Would recommend this cottage unreservedly. Would definitely look to stay here again.

Excellent location with an easy walk into the village, also a bus stop at the end of the driveway with regular buses to Poole, Swanage, Lulworth, Sandbanks and Weymouth etc. Overall a very comfortable and peaceful holiday cottage.

Top marks for cleanliness, comfort and a fabulous location, complete with a working steam train going through the village - our grandson literally jumped for joy when he saw it.
