The cottage was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. A well equipped kitchen, great shower and a comfy bed. We went in September and the heating kept us nice and warm. Although the builders were there this did not affect us. The location was great for exploring the coast....

This is the second time we have stayed at this stunning property set in a small village, with easy access to Hive beach, Bridport town and West Bay. It is furnished to the highest standards and has gorgeous furnishings and a beautiful shower room. The owners are currently having landscaping work done in the main garden but I imagine this will be completed soon. We stayed here the first week of August 2025....

A well presented and comfortable cottage with a well equipped kitchen and a good shower. Perfect for a couple. Pleasant pub within easy walking distance and Bridport just a few minutes drive. It was a shame that the long term landscaping project was taking place during our stay limiting our use of the outside space. ...

Rectory Cottage by far exceeded any other holiday cottage we’ve stayed in. The quality of everything was exceptional, so stylish and comfortable. Our first ever Christmas spent away from family and we couldn’t have chosen better… even though the garden was in the middle of being re-landscaped, which we’re sure is going to look amazing when finished. The surrounding Dorset countryside and easy access to the Chesil Beach is wonderful for walking, something we very much love to do. Highly recommended, we hope to return....
