Mr Thompson September 2021

Officers' Quarters and its neighbour must be unique conversions of part of a WW2 radar station, retaining a vintage feel with the furnishings, decor and pictures but with all mod-cons. Close to the scenic Pembrokeshire coastline, this is in a great location too. Definitely recommended. ...

Mrs Lewis August 2021

A very special property in a quiet and peaceful location (August Bank holiday week!) Charming and helpful owners who take great pride in making sure their clients are happy. They even supplied extra equipment, a bistro set for the patio, during our stay. Welcome sherry added to the atmosphere of this unusual property. This is a beautiful area of the Pembrokeshire coast, giving excellent access on quiet roads to lovely coastal villages. (40 minutes to St. Davids, 15 minutes to Dale. Nearby Little Haven is beautiful). Coastal walking is matchless and 20 minutes across the fields brings you straight onto the coast path via a tiny bay. All in all, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and to return to the Officers’ Quarters. ...

Officers' Quarters is not the usual holiday cottage and is all the better for it. John and Jane, the friendly owners, have clearly spent a great deal of love and care in restoring the property, getting a good balance of 1940s authenticity and modern facilities. We are a family of four (inc two teenagers) and would definitely recommend it for people looking to stay somewhere a little different from the norm without sacrificing comfort - the beds are very comfy! It's in a great location with St Brides Haven close by - perfect for a morning or evening swim - as well as Dale, Marloes and St Martins Haven and the headland overlooking Skomer. We stayed there in mid August and saw loads of seals and pups in the coves round the headland. Also handy are Little Haven and Broad Haven - we would recommend the burgers at Sand and Stone Kitchen in Broad Haven....
