We recently had the pleasure of staying at La Cabine Francaise, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The ambiance of the place is charming and truly captures the essence of French elegance in the Dorchester valleys. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could need. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my stay. Overall, our stay at La Cabine Francaise was nothing short of perfect. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway. ...

Wonderful shepherd hut on its own in a great setting. There are two shepherd huts to use so don’t feel cramped plus the excellent bathroom hut. Stayed in cold part of March but got the underfloor heating and wood burners to keep cosy warm. Owners are very welcoming. ...

Superb property with great hosts in a perfect and peaceful location - we loved it. Much more space than we anticipated - perfectly accommodated us both and our dog who is crated at night. Lots of lovely touches including a very generous welcome basket for humans and furry friends alike. A range of miniature luxury toiletries also came in very handy when we realised we had forgotten shower gel! The location is fabulous surrounded by beautiful villages and just a short drive to the coast. Would recommend Eype beach for anyone travelling with their dog - easy parking and dog friendly year round. The village pub is an easy 15/20 minute walk and perfect for an evening stroll. We also enjoyed delicious meals (with pooch) at the Greyhound in Sydling St Nicholas and at Brassica in Beaminster (where there is also a great local co-op). For those wishing to stay in - we also used the barbecue provided, followed by a drink by the fantastic fire pit. All in all a fabulous stay which was very much value for money - thank you!...
