Five ladies enjoyed a long weekend together in this very comfortable house. Everything was available for our convenience. This property would also be perfect for a family going to the North Devon coast for a beach holiday.

The Old Presbytery is quite simply an outstanding property from the minute you walk through the front door the house welcomes you. Very quite location and immaculate through-out. The owners have ensured the very best in everyway , super comfy beds in all rooms , The kitchen provides everything a family could wish for and more. 10 out of 10 in every-way Ian Darler B.E.M

We loved the quiet location of The Old Presbytery. The house is spotlessly clean and attractively furnished. There are so many beautiful beaches a short drive away and many family attractions.

The property is in a good location for reaching local beaches and the surrounding area and is nice and quiet. Unfortunately all the bathrooms are in need of an update and generally the property needs a good clean; for example, black mould in showers, cobwebs in most rooms.

The Old Presbytery is a lovely property in a quiet part of busy Braunton. The house is decorated and styled to a high standard with excellent equipment and soft furnishings. Braunton is, in our opinion, not really a village; it’s much more like a small town with considerable hustle and bustle in the centre with the A361 main road going right through the middle of the town. Braunton does have a lot to offer though for eating out and shopping. This visit, we had the takeaway fish & chips from Squires and they were the best we’ve ever had! The nearest pub, The Black Horse, seems to have benefited from many improvements with the arrival of new owners earlier in the year. We thoroughly recommend this property.

Fantastic kitchen facilities, loved the open range oven and BIG fridge! Perfect! Location to beaches and town, privacy of house and great garden space for family.

Lovely house with a good location. Comfortable, clean and good facilities.

Staying at The Old Presbytery with a multi generational group was perfect. Everything was provided. A real home from home. It was very comfortable and gave everyone the space they needed. Will be back

Just Wow!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Presbytery. It exceeded our expectations in every way possible and we appreciated the care and effort that the owners had demonstrated in the details, big and small, to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible....from the wonderful welcome box of local treats such as scones, jam, chocolate, and a bottle of wine! to providing linen baskets for the gradual accumulation of used clothing. All the appliances were 'top of the range' so to speak, as was the crockery, bedding etc. I understand the owners use their home from time to time for family breaks and so this explains all the prestigious brands within the property ...they have furnished and fitted out this home as they would want for their own comfort too...we, as renters, benefit from all their perfect choices. I really can't praise the fabulousness of The Old Presbytery and would jump at the chance to revisit!!.

The house was amazing and Mrs Norton was extremely helpful with a couple of problems that we had. Would certainly recommend it and hope to go back again.

We have really enjoyed our week at the Old Presbytery! It has been well located with Braunton centre just a short walk away with plenty of surf/gift shops and eateries- we recommend Squires fish and chip restaurant. We found the location perfect for exploring North Devon as a family! The bedrooms were nice and spacious with lots of wardrobe space. The home was very well furnished with a lovely interior design and plenty of kitchen appliances allowing us to dine in. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is interested- you won’t be disappointed!!

Amazing house. Perfect in all ways

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Old Presbytery. A spacious property in a great location for exploring North Devon. The location was also nice and quiet even though the centre of Braunton with shops and a Supermarket are within easy reach. Excellent beaches such as Woolacombe are only a short drive away. The beds were very comfortable and the double beds a very good size. The downstairs bedroom with its own shower room was a bonus for our mixed family party. The large fridge in the kitchen/ diner enabled us to store our food for the week and the generous welcome pack on our arrival was much appreciated. We would certainly recommend The Old Presbytery as a great place to stay for a family holiday.

We have used Classic Cottages a number of times during the last 2 years, every property has been first class and we will continue to use them in the future. The "Old Presbytery" being one of the outstanding "cottages" we have rented from Classic. The property is ideally located for the many beaches in the area and places of interest easily reached within 15-25 minutes. Its fantastically kitted out, Kitchen, beds/bedding, bathroom facilities etc etc. it has the lot for a family holiday.
We stayed with 6 adults and 9 month year old and the property was big enough for people to have room and privacy when wanted. Everything about the Old Presbytery feels crisp and new and we hope to plan to come back again in 2023.

The Old Presbytery is very well appointed. The furnishings are new and comfortable, and everything we needed or wanted was there. This included equipment for babies and everything you could possibly want in the kitchen. The location is great, with the shops a short walk away, and some wonderful beaches close by. The house is more spacious than it appears from the outside and three generations of our family were very happy there. The comprehensive instructions and generous welcome pack made us feel quickly at home.

We had a wonderful week at the Old Presbytery. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds with all the home comforts we needed for our stay. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and all the tips on places to visit nearby appreciated. The location is just brilliant for walking into town for some lovely food-plenty of choice! The choice of board games and the BBQ were great to have too. Thanks for a lovely holiday and we look forward to visiting again!
