We had a fantastic stay at Shell Cottage and couldn’t have been happier. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. Its central location in Cornwall made it the perfect base for exploring the area, with short drives to many of the region’s highlights. We also loved the wonderful dog walk along the River Fal, which is just a short walk from the cottage. Everything was exactly as we had hoped, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Shell Cottage to anyone visiting Cornwall....

The accommodation is a quaint cosy and comfortable old cottage with a (tiny) suntrap garden full of delightful planting. It is located in an historic area of Grampound. The decor is pleasant and furnishings are comfortable. The shower is excellent in the smart shower room and it is useful having a separate toilet. The kitchen overlooks the adjacent cottage garden, which is the access to the cottage where the owners live, and this can feel intrusive. The location is excellent for visiting the grand gardens of Cornwall, coastal attractions and surrounding villages. There are walks direct from the house and would recommend the peaceful and attractive walk along the River Fal through woodland. I enjoyed staying in Shell Cottage and hope to return for a future holiday....
