Mr Scammell February 2022

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fox Cottage, which exceeded our expectations and even the weather was very good considering it was February!! The welcome basket was full of delicious treats that we enjoyed. It was perfectly situated a stone’s throw from the centre of town but was down a lovely quiet lane. We highly recommend this cottage. ...

Beautifully presented cottage full of character and charm. The location was ideal. Within easy walking distance to the local grocery store, pubs and cafes, plus a short 15 minute drive to the local town of Bridport and West Bay. We will definitely return....

Lovely comfortable cottage in quiet location. Pubs in walking distance. Lovely walks from the cottage.

A comfortable cosy cottage very near the town centre but on a quiet street with a lovely small enclosed garden which is a real suntrap in which to relax. The town square with its good selection of interesting shops is just two minutes walk away and there are several nice cafes and restaurants to enjoy. We found a number of circular country walks nearby which will suit those looking for either a strenuous walk or a gentle stroll. We did not find the church bells and clock chimes at all intrusive. For those wishing to use public transport there are busses from the town square to Yeovil and Bridport, with connections from the latter along the Jurassic Coast in both directions....
