Our second stay in the delightful Fox Cottage. This little gem is beautifully appointed and styled, and absolutely immaculate. So easy to stroll up into the town which has a great choice of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Would highly recommend the property, the town and the area, and would love to return again....

What a wonderful cosy cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Fox Cottage. Loved the sound of the church bells. About a 30 minute drive to Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. Highly recommend a stay here.

I do not want to write a long reiew but would just mention good places to visit from Beaminster .Especially I would mention Mapperton and Forde Abbey.They are both superb.And the parish church was friendly and welcoming.

Fox Cottage was the perfect place for our holiday. The central peaceful location next to the church in the small town of Beaminster suited us well with all amenities at hand and local pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Bridport was about a 20 minute drive, Abbotsbury 40minutes and there is a local bus service. The cottage is compact but perfect with tasteful decor, comfortable furniture and all the equipment you could need at hand.It was exceptionally clean. The sunny courtyard garden was beautifully planted and so quiet. Despite being minutes from the main square Fox Cottage is really quiet. We heard the bells chime but they did not disturb us at all and otherwise it was birdsong and the occasional horse trotting by. The local people were friendly and happy to chat about the area and inform us of local events that were happening. We had a wonderful five days there and will book again....
