Magnolia Cottage was a great find, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, especially the beds. Although located within the grounds of the owners' home there is still peace and privacy with your own courtyard and lawned area, enclosed and safe for dogs. Chilcompton with a shop and pub is a lovely village with lots of walks on the doorstep, and many interesting areas to explore within a short drive including Wells, Glastonbury, Somerset levels nature reserves. We were welcomed by Bev on arrival she was there if needed but left us alone to relax the cottage is in a lovely quiet spot but it is easy to get about the county and see a bit of Somerset make sure you go to the Holy Cow for breakfast the smoked salmon and eggs was a very special treat. ...
